Join me as I share the origin story of the Be Bird Wise initiative in Washington’s agricultural Skagit Valley. Be Bird Wise is a coalition educational media campaign speaking to recreational visitors to the Skagit agricultural region, drawn by the presence and abundance of migratory birds.

This presentation will take place at the 2027 Stanwood Camano Snow Goose and Birding Festival in Stanwood, WA. I will also be there representing the Be Bird Wise program in my role as Outreach Coordinator for Skagitonians to Preserve Farmland, the hosting organization of this coalition program.
